Serving veterans on Thanksgiving day at the VFW!!! :)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!  I had the privilege and honor of serving our veterans today at the VFW. I might be writing an article for our local newspaper weekly.  will let you know if I do. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. God bless you all. Love ya.

I have never thought of myself as a superstitious person until one Friday the 13th when I took my Girl Scout troop to Chattanooga, Tennessee. We spent the night at a hotel there and our room key never did work. An employee at the hotel had to let us in and out of the room every time. It was so annoying.
However I was discussing this with a lady one day and she told me that her son was born on a Friday the 13th. She always saw it as a happy reminder of that. So I thought I would give you all a positive story too!!!
Regardless I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!  Get out if you can and look at the beautiful Autumn leaves that are changing colors.

I am enjoying this cooler weather. However it's suppose to get hot again. The fiddlers convention is this weekend at Athens State University. Ya'll come! I'm starting back to school at Athens State University as a senior this January. I plan to work on finishing my criminal justice degree. Yippeee! God bless ya'll.
